November PL kit with Mey

Hi everyone! We are already in December... only a few steps from Christmas! Here is my Pocket Life page made with the wonderful Pocket Life November Kit. I absolutely love the embellishments from this kit, be it the die cuts or the clear stickers! I also used the tiny snow flakes and white stars to add some detail on my pictures.

To realise this page, I used this kit:

November scrap kit with Christin

Christin here to show you a layout using the November Scrap Main Kit.

We don't have much snow here where I live in Norway so I pulled out a picture from December last year.    I often make backgrounds prior to making the layouts and I had a yellow background that I thought would match grey and yellow papers in the kit.

I used silver paint to cut the laser cut ornament.

I used the snow flake stamps to both emboss on the white cardstock and on the acrylic star. Just be careful and not heat it too close.

Mey's Pocket Life with November kit

Hi there! I hope you enjoy finding us and our latest projects on the Art Workshop Kit Club blog!
I have received the November Pocket Life kit, and... as soon as I laid my hands on it, I could not wait to sit at my scrap table and play with all those cute embellishments!
I absolutely love the clear stickers. I used some on my page, even though it is not Christmas-related (yet)... Can you spot them? There is a white flower and the "Oh Joy", I really like the effect on my picture.
I cut the wooden star in two, to make something that looks like leaves.
I added some stamping and some white Mr Huey ink drops. In the middle of my spread, I used two square cards from the kit, and for the Sunset title, I used the golden alphabet, which is transparent.
So, what do you think?

Check this out here!

November scrap main kit with Marta Grochocka - part 1

Hi! :)

I created cosy and warm layout using November Scrap Main Kit.

I used cold colors - grey and light blue. There is a bit of craft paper too,
some golden stars and some lovely sequins.

I used Wanderlust Lucy Lane by Studio Calico as a basic paper.

I added some:
Print Shop Sunday Best by Studio Calico,
- Wanderlust Road Less Traveled by Studio Calico,
- Hello Sunshine Rain Drops by Pink Paislee,
- and strips of Daydreamer Dodge Ball paper by American Crafts

I used My Mind's Eye Winter Wonderland Stamps - a little star and an ornament stamp.
Teresa Collins Nine & Co.Wood Dots just melted my heart - they're soooo cute!

I used Teresa Collins Tinsel & Company Chipboard  Buttons
and Teresa Collins Tinsel & Company Word Stickers
- they have lovely colors and they fit perfectly to craft paper!

Look at all these stars

Craft Fun Christmas limited Chipboards are just great!

October scrap main kit with Christin Grønnslett - part 2

Christin here with my second layout with the  October Scrap Main Kit. What I love about working with kits is that there are so many possibilities when it comes to choosing your focal colors.  For my last week I went grey, hotpink and yellow. This time I wanted to focus on some fall colors with yellow, brown and I added a gold touch to it.

I started with a background with different shades of brown, yellow gold and orange and pick out the papers in the kit that would fit with a fall theme.  I found both grey, orange, yellow, red and different blue tones that fit a fall palette.

When I work with backgrounds I usually just drop mist on a white cardstock prepped with clear gesso and then use a waterbrush to cover pieces of the paper, then I use stencils for another level, then stamp and last add more drops of mist - this time without brushing it out, but this time I wanted to really get the gold feeling so I embossed the numbers with gold.

When I work with layers I have a couple of different strategies that I use.  Here I mostly just added papers that were slightly bigger than the one over. but not for the last layers, just to change it up a little. Other times I change the size of the papers more and have different sizes. What is so fun about working with layers is that as long as you add lots of layers, you can't really go wrong if you don't fill the whole page with it. The whole idea of layers this way is to have one focal point and let the eyes rest.

October Scrap Main Kit with Tetiana Komarova (Taniko) - part 2

Hello dear friends!
Taniko here with my second layout with the October Scrap Main KitThis time I created LO in grey, pink, blue and white with small addition of yellow and black. To create this project was easy because all paper from the kit combine together perfectly. I like that pattern from the sheet of scrappaper also have the same embellishments, like stars or arrows.

Special attention should be paid to the wooden signs.

Have a lovely day! xo
